Cup handle traction test
Laboratory instrument developed to provide a repeatable procedure for determining the adhesion test of cup handles to their bodies. The unit consists of a drop weight, a spring balance with maximum breaking load indicator and adjustable locking supports to adapt to all cup sizes and shapes.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
• cup handle attached to a hook under the barbell.
• locking device fixed around the cup body.
• holding lever which is released to allow the dampened weight to fall at constant speed.
• dial with indicator of the maximum breaking load increase.
• at the end of the test the handle will detach from the body and the dial indicator will return to zero, but the second indicator will remain at the maximum load point reached.
