Pocket Shore durometer, allow to measure the hardness of rubber, cautchou, and soft plastic material using the Shore A measuring unit, and ridgid plastic material unsing the Shore D measuring unit. Precision according to DIN 53505 / ASTM-D-2240 standards. The model Shore A is supplied with a metal calibration specimen to the periodical calibration. The model Shore D is supplied without metal calibration specimen because the end conical measuring point is very fragile. For periodical calibration we recommend to buy a special rubber calbration specimen.
