Penetrometer K1 Pro
Instrument for measuring the density in ceramic wares. Measuring instrument based on the principle of penetration of a needle with a flat head parallel to the surface of the object to be penetrated. The testing pressure is higher than the maximum pressure utilised during the industrial production process. The penetration value expresses the anomalous behaviour of one or more of the variables influencing the pressing operation: anomalous filling of the dies, pressing pressure and way of application, moisture content, etc. It also performs a thickness check.
